After treating us to a live escape game at clueQuest
(London’s #1 attraction according to TripAdvisor), we were led to Cinnamon Kitchen in Devonshire Square for some nibbles, drinks, and a visit to the House of Holi pop-up pod. Holi
, as you know, is the Hindu spring festival of Colours/Love.
Quite befitting for a birthday, no? What’s a celebration without colour and love?
Devonshire Square is absolutely stunning. One of my favourite spots in the Square Mile.
We were greeted by a gorgeous cinnamon bellini which, quite frankly, tasted like the love child of beer and Christmas. Delicious.
And then there were photos…
Nibbles were served and everyone brought out their cameras. Ah, the unspoken mantra in practice: we shoot first, eat later. #bloggerproblems
While waiting for our Holi suits we got the chance to chat and share experiences. I really enjoyed meeting this lot so before we get down and dirty, let’s do a roll call…
Such a lovely bunch, these bloggers.
Don’t we all look adorable in our clean pre-Holi suits?
Armed with Holi powder and a desire to spread technicolour love, we entered the pod and this happened…
Well… how d’you like us now?
That Holi pod was such good fun, I’m convinced a Holi-day is needed at least once a week! Everyone ended up with colour-splattered faces and it was such a cheerful sight to see.
Oh but the night wasn’t exactly over yet…
Watch this space for the final installment of the #Nuffnangis007 Birthday Series.
